Our always growing Colorado Inn/Bed & Breakfast & Event Center, the Arrowhead Manor, seeks Long-Term, Live-In, On- Site Innkeeper Caretaker Manager Couple or Small Family in a long-term committed &/or family-style relationship, to work & live together running our Inn. Earn while you learn all facets of all business endeavors we delve into, including but not limited to; include Guest Interaction & Customer Service, Cooking & Serving of Meals, Light Office Work & Phones, Light Indoor/Outdoor Maintenance, Business Planning & Development, House Management and more! Engaged Applicants will work a minimum of 40-60 hours a week (or more for more money!) and will in turn, receive great pay commensurate with hours worked, experience and efforts, as follows: $10-$13, per hour PLUS, PLUS< PLUS, +++ for each hour worked by each person in your group, including, but not limited to, possible, tips, bonuses &/or commissions, free nicely furnished luxury Studio-Style Apartment for 2, (and possible additional quarters if more family is hired), which includes all needed living supplies, free utilities, phone, Internet and Wi-Fi, TV, Satellite/Cable TV and Radio stations, computer usage, some free meals, a chance at possible partial ownership shares &/or interests in our ever-growing business (for the right people who really give their everything, conditions apply), and so much more, commensurate with your group's consistently honest & positive attitudes, work ethics and efforts! Mix that together with the fact that applicants live and work together and therefore spend so much more time together while also avoiding all the typical costs &/or losses people find in the real world of work, including but not limited to; commuting, wear and tear, job searching, relationship searching, and more. All you need to bring is a car (we are in a remote location but on a highway so pedestrian or bikes are not conducive types of travel here), insurance, personal belongings like your clothes, your cell phone, your fancy TV or Stereo if you have one, a good attitude and a willingness to work and learn! The more you do, the harder you try, the better your attitude, the more you’ll make! The apartments are somewhat cozy so we cannot store or house your furnishings or children. Sorry.
Couple/family will be engaged under 1099 contract, through at least Jan/Feb of 2014*, or later by mutual agreement, meaning all people in your couple/family/group will be responsible to pay all of their own taxes, workman's comp., disability, retirement, insurances, etc. unless or until more benefits might be in order. After initial training, all applicants MUST be motivated, self- starters & hard workers who will provide the services required to run, and develop, the Inn & Event Center without the need for constant management, direction or reminders. No on the job drinking or drugging allowed, at any time, ever. Conservative, Respectable, Casual dress code, including safe, flat, no-slip shoes, is required at the building at all times, and occasional professional dress may be required during certain events. All applicants must prove they are legal to work in US & MUST be completely and fully fluent in both written & verbal English. No vehicle can be provided to start and since we are in the Foothills in Colorado, where there is snow, & wildlife, and no pedestrian walkways or sidewalks, and the city is about 3-5 miles away, it is suggested that Applicants have a good, rugged, solid, Front, All-Wheel, or Four-Wheel drive vehicle & must demonstrate proof of insurance for very rare but possible occasional business errand use. All applicants in your group will need to come to CO to begin at the same time. Proof of no criminal background, and an EXCELLENT job (& credit) history & references are required before final hire. One small dog or cat may be allowed but sorry, no other pets, no children, and no singles can be considered at this time. There is just not enough living space and our Guests come for a no children, no pet experience. For those wondering that is a legal job requirement in Colorado when sharing any living quarters, which is what our house and business does. A recent photo is extremely helpful, and we do appreciate Applicants sending those, but please note; we are not hiring people for anything but a Caretaker/Innkeeper position and so please, we don’t need to see you with little clothing, this is not that type of job! If you have proof that you are able to work in US, it is great if you send that all at once too. PLEASE do not send everything piece meal.
